What we’ll be doing

We’re going to take you right to the heart of Puebla, a 492 year old city, which privileged geography created one of the five culinary capitals of the country. Puebla is a lively city with an incredibly rich history and even greater food! You will be experiencing first-hand the taste of an exceptional heritage

You will be discovering the magnificent architectural composition of the Puebla streets, both in some main roads and not so popular, yet beautiful and interesting roads. Puebla is a very traditional city, but the modern lifestyle is also discretely blended in its unique and vibrant streets. You’ll see.

By the end of the tour you will have tried some of the most delicious and emblematic dishes whilst also understanding a bit more about culture and history

  • We begin the journey with coffee and a delightful traditional bread from a northern region in the state of Puebla.
  • Next stop you will try a taco like you’ve had before, this taco combines some of the most delicious and unique ingredients of the Mexican cuisine.
  • You can show off that you were in Puebla only after you’ve had the typical breakfast dish representing the most traditional flavors of the Puebla cuisine.
  • After some more walking, get ready to be struck by the essence of Puebla in a traditional diner. Both the dish and the place are a delightful experience we can’t allow you to miss.
  • Time to cool down on our next stop, a delicacy icicle that tastes like the best of Mexico.
  • For the grand finale, you will be trying a city classic. A specialty, handed from generation to generation for, literally, centuries. Now it’s time you be a part of it!

Why visit Puebla City?

When it comes to tourism, Puebla is often overlooked. However, it is like a hidden gem, for this city offers the best weather throughout the year and internationally recognized cuisine to die for. It has over 16 traditional dishes and its cuisine has been internationally recognized on different occasions. This city is famous for its food like no other!

Puebla offers impressive architecture, like the biggest pyramid in America (the Cholula pyramid), and the first public library of the continent (Biblioteca Palafoxiana). Historically speaking, Puebla is a city that never stops giving

Downtown Puebla is a wonderful walkable area, but around the city you can also find lots of parks, malls, aquariums, museums and attractions for different interests and ages! By the time you leave you‘ll be wanting to come back!

MY BIO

Welcome! I’m Daniela, restaurant and hospitality specialist, and your guide at the Taste Seekers Crew. If you’re curious to know more about me, let me share with you my two great passions:  food and creating unforgettable experiences! My greatest joy lies in discovering delicious food and sharing it with other fellow Taste Seekers.

Over the past seven years, life has led me to sharing food and traveling experiences in cities like Puebla, Ensenada, Oaxaca and Mexico. While my formal education and restaurant experience hold significant value, nothing compares to immersing myself in the actual encounter between culture and food. The latter has been my most profound teacher, hands-on. The journey has truly humbled me and it ultimately fueled my decision to start this project.

As an adventurer, discovering new cultures and flavors is my drive, but what fascinates me the most is how food has the power to broaden our perspective and open new doors for us. Thank you for embarking with me on this tour! I’m so excited for you to join the Taste Seeking adventures!
